Grand Valley Highland Games

Attention lads and lassies! Please read the following about this years Highland Games.

It’s become more and more evident that this is a tough time for small businesses, vendors, and customers alike. We only want to give the absolute best, memorable and most fulfilling experience of the Highland Games possible. We’ve determined that this year, we cannot put on a Highland Games up to this standard for the following reasons. The increasing costs of small business/vendors/travel expenses/merchandise is putting a lot of us in a bind without guaranteed payoff, as our customers (you all) are feeling the severe effects of inflation too. We’ve also received less help in sponsoring this event with the community this year, and we know this too is a side effect of cutting costs and inflation. This year, we’ve decided to take a year off and let everyone get their footing and we will come back bigger and better next year! Our planning teams are already in meetings and we would love to hear from you, what you’d want to see/ have at next years Highland Games! Please let us know!

In the meantime, we are sorry to have to postpone until next year. We know this event is looked forward to all year by many vendors and guests alike. We hope that by taking this year off, we can come back better and stronger and make sure everyone involved has the best possible experience
